About Sdudley Music
Hi, I'm Sam Dudley. I've been creating music and sound design for video games, TV, short films and animation for over 10 years. Most recently I've immersed myself into the world of game audio, working at Playstation as a Music Production Assistant, and in 2020 as a Music Editor on a number of AAA titles including PS5 Launch title Sackboy: A Big Adventure, PSVR exclusive Blood & Truth and Flavourwork's interactive thriller Erica.
When I'm not making video game music, I'm also pretty keen on talking about it, having written analytical articles and interviews for The Sound Architect, as well as transcribing and dissecting musical things on my blog Ludo Musings.
Understanding play and sound interaction has been a life-long fascination for me. Sound has an amazing capacity to bring storytelling to life, particularly in games where 3D audio worlds magic up amazing levels of player immersion. This continues to be a constant source of inspiration in my work.
